Attending this years Expo was very exciting to me. This was my first PDCA event, and expo. It was also my first time in Las Vegas. The opportunity to learn new things, and meet new people in our industry is always something I value. The short three days was packed with many different courses, with very smart and innovative people in the painting industry. I was able to attend several booths in the trade show, and talk about new products I have never seen, or heard of before. I have plenty of interviews I will be delving into in the coming weeks, and wanted to give a teaser of things to come. Here are two companies I had the chance to have great conversations with the owners. They are very passionate about their business and it shows.
TriTech Industries is a maker of spray equipment for professional painters. They sell direct to the contractor and I am really looking forward to putting their products in the hands of our painters. From spray guns and tips, to extensions, filters, hoses, and swivels. They also have plans to offer two different models of airless sprayers in the coming year.

Kovrd Convenient Solutions for Painters. I was very impressed with these two entrepreneurs behind this company. They were excited about what they do, and had an excellent understanding of online marketing. They currently have a single product called the 3 in 1 paint tray bag. I am expecting to see many more innovative products from this company in the future.

There is nothing on the market like The Kovrd 3 IN 1 PAINT TRAY BAG & DROP SHEET (patent pending). This Kovrd product accommodates all paint tray sizes, as well as a roller and a brush, offering a reusable convenient solution to prevent the drying of materials.
