Sherwin-Williams introduces Extreme BondTM Interior and Exterior Primer, a solution for surfaces that require a greater degree of adhesion than standard primers can offer. The primer is now available in Sherwin-Williams stores.
“Extreme Bond Primer delivers outstanding painting results on surfaces that require a greater degree of adhesion than standard primers can offer,” said Jeff Winter, director of wholesale marketing, residential-repaint, Sherwin-Williams. “It’s a one-coat application that dries fast and promotes adhesion to hard-to-stick surfaces, ensuring a uniform appearance of the topcoat.”
For use in both interior and exterior settings, Extreme Bond Primer is a high-quality, waterborne, acrylic primer designed for coating hard, glossy surfaces such as plastic, glass, aluminum, wall laminate, kitchen cabinets, varnished woodwork, ceramic wall tile and more with minimal surface preparation. As an added benefit, sanding may not be necessary for most clean, paintable surfaces.
Extreme Bond Primer can be tinted and is compatible with a full range of topcoats, including high performance coatings such as epoxies and urethanes. The primer has achieved GREENGUARD® GOLD Certification.
Tried extreme Bond Primer and found it to be lacking. Applied, gave 2 days to dry and painted over it,once it gets wet with finish, the brush cuts intothe primer and looks terible.
That’s right George. It’s impossible to keep a wet edge applying a finish coat with this garbage. I’ll never use it again.
I like Peel bond RX
